Schools Pledging Week | 1st-8th March 2026
Join teachers & students around the world ending child marriage
Las escuelas son partes vitales de cada comunidad y los maestros pueden desempeñar un papel importante en la sensibilización de sus alumnos sobre sus derechos. Estamos interesados en trabajar con los maestros para crear conciencia sobre el matrimonio infantil en sus aulas, en todo el mundo.
Para apoyar a los docentes que participan en la campaña, hemos creado un plan de clase y asamblea adaptable para que lo utilices con tus alumnos, que incluye una presentación modelo e información de fondo sobre el matrimonio infantil. Esperamos que estos recursos sean útiles tanto para docentes como para estudiantes para que tomen conciencia de sus derechos en relación con el matrimonio infantil, la educación y la salud.
El paquete incluye el texto de la promesa de un mundo libre de matrimonio infantil, en caso de que la clase quiera comprometerse a poner fin al matrimonio infantil. Si desea que contabilicemos sus promesas y que recibamos un certificado que reconozca a su clase como partidaria de la campaña, le agradeceríamos que nos lo hiciera saber registrando su participación aquí .
TEACHERS LEADING CHANGE
Since 2024, teachers & schools around the world have organized pledging events to stand against child marriage. Building on the success of these efforts, teachers are now taking action for the final week of the #100DaysofAction campaign.
From primary classrooms to older teenagers, across faith-based and public schools, pledging events have been widely supported.
Share Your Students’ Posters
We will be sharing posters from students with their hopes and dreams at the UN on the week beginning the 9th March.
If you would like your students’ posters from the your lesson to be shared at the UN and presented at the Commission on the Status of Women, please be sure to upload them by 7 March (when submitting your event report).
