SOBRE LA LEY Y CUALQUIER EXCEPCIÓN
In 2011, the Children's Law of Liberia was passed which removed all exemptions for child marriage and made the legal age for marriage 18 (previously it was 18 for women and 21 for men). In addition, the Children's Law criminalises the acts of marrying a child, and facilitating a child marriage including betrothal.
