Child Marriage Free World works with partners to end child marriage, community by community.
The global campaign was initiated in 2024, following the success in India of local pledging events to end child marriage, led by women and supportive activists across the country.

Our first ever Global Pledging Week to End Child Marriage was held in December 2024, with schools and communities in 30 countries taking part.
Constitutions, many national laws, and the United Nations have all banned child marriage, but it will only be eliminated when every community also takes a stand and when all girls and boys know their rights.
