100 DAYS OF ACTION TO END CHILD MARRIAGE
Over 1 million girls are married every month, most of them to older adult men.
In the lead up to International Women’s Day and the UN Commission on the Status of Women, the Child Marriage Free World campaign has organised 100 Days of Action to End Child Marriage. This new global mobilisation brings together communities, faith leaders, civil society organisations, survivor-advocates, decision makers and young people to accelerate change.
Over these 100 days, partners around the world are holding public pledging events against child marriage and promoting stronger legal protection for all children at risk.
Everyone can take part. Schools, faith groups, youth networks, and community organisations are all invited and encouraged to organise activities that highlight the harms of child marriage and support efforts to end it.
We have created a range of materials and resources to help communities participate. These are free to use and can be adapted for your local context.

Together, we can help build a world where every child grows up safe, supported, and free from early and forced marriage.
