100 DAYS
OF ACTION

On the United Nations World Day for the Prevention of and Healing from Child
Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Violence, we announce the 100 Days of Action to
End Child Marriage, a bold global call to act.

Over the next 100 days, we will mobilize leaders, partners, and communities to help
drive change through public pledging events, promoting stronger laws against child
marriage and engaging decision makers.

We all share an urgent responsibility to end child marriage. Every child deserves to
dream, to learn, and to thrive. Yet one million girls are married every month, most of
them to older adult men.

Ending child marriage is not only a moral imperative, but also a matter of human
rights and dignity. Justice must be more than a promise - it must be delivered
through laws, policies, and actions that safeguard children. Together, we can build a
future where every child’s rights are respected and upheld.

The 100 Days of Action are an opportunity for people everywhere to participate in a
global effort to ensure that all girls can grow, learn and live free from early and forced
marriage.
