On December 16, 2025, the End Child Marriage sensitization campaign was successfully carried out at Bayelsa Medical University, following unexpected logistical challenges earlier in the day. The activity was led by Sulton Abdullahi, Psychologist in Training at Mind Lab Clinic, alongside a team of four facilitators.

A total of 105 students participated in the session, including 43 students from Government Secondary School Ovom, 50 from Government Science and Technical College, and 12 from Isaac Jasper Boro College of Education. The sensitization covered critical topics such as the risks and long-term consequences of child marriage, legal rights and protections, mental health implications, and pathways to education and empowerment.

Engagement was highly interactive, featuring Q&A sessions, role-playing activities, and the distribution of informational pamphlets and support contacts. All school heads approved the relocation, and students attended without incident. Transportation support was provided for 25 students traveling long distances. The event concluded successfully, setting a strong foundation for follow-up engagement and future campaigns.
