On 21 January 2026, CHFG organized an awareness event at Mafi Adiekpe R.C. Basic School in the Central Tongu District, Adidome, Volta Region of Ghana. The session focused on child marriage and teenage pregnancy and was facilitated by Emmanuel Amezah from Concerned Heart Foundation.

The aim of the event was to help children understand the dangers of child marriage and early pregnancy. During the session, students learned how these practices can affect their health, education, and future opportunities. The discussion was conducted in a simple and clear way so that the children could easily understand the messages.
A total of 300 children participated in the event. At the end of the session, all participating students took a pledge to say no to child marriage and teenage pregnancy in their school and community.

This activity contributed to the Child Marriage Free World campaign by building awareness among children and encouraging them to share these messages with their families, friends, and communities.
