This engagement focused on awareness, dialogue, pledging and commitment-building among young girls.

This interactive sensitization session included 76 students between the ages of 13 and 16 years. The session explored the impacts of child marriage, emphasising on its effects on education, health, personal development, and fundamental human rights. Group discussions and a question-and-answer segment followed, during which students openly shared personal experiences and observations related to early marriage within their communities. Their contributions demonstrated a strong understanding of the issue and a collective rejection of harmful traditional practices that undermine girls’ futures. The activity concluded with a pledging where all 76 students committed to standing against child marriage and advocating for education and personal growth.
